Individual Mandate - for those whose only focus in life is me, me, me, let me break it down for you - if you are too lazy or too fucking cheap to pay for insurance because you never get sick or hurt, just remember who pays for your aches and pains and emergencies when you finally find yourself in a situation in which you need that insurance - me, my friends, and my fellow citizens. so, if you think about it, the Individual Mandate brought to you by the President of the United States is a subtle message from the rest of us who have insurance and pay taxes: if you can’t afford it, we will help you; if you are just too fucking lazy or cheap, well, tough fucking shit, we don’t wanna pay for your ass; that’s your responsibility. step the fuck up; get insured. oh, and thank your Right-wing politicians because it was originally their idea.
