nothing about it is hard to understand, but the “pure evil” remark just seemed so over the top that i wasn’t sure if you were shooting for satire. oh sure, some people are horrible and just looking for an excuse to kill others or strike a blow against a foreign power they view as murderous and empirical — they would have an honest argument for both, to be sure — but that doesn’t excuse their actions. the film and the spontaneous rioting in Egypt gave them that excuse. “pure evil” just seemed a little to Biblical, and so i just thought you were joking. no worries.
